English Teacher 

First for Education is seeking an English Teacher to provide cover in a well-regarded secondary school in Worcester. 
This is a full-time, long-term position for the autumn term, delivering lessons across a range of subjects at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). Ideally you will also be confident to teach at Key Stage 5 (KS5) if needed for support. 
The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an excellent environment for a Secondary Supply Teacher looking for a consistent role.

English Teacher role requirements: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Ability to deliver lessons that are planned for you, making them interactive and engaging.  
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills 
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching 
• Strong communication and organisational skills 
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing 
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

 
The successful English Teacher will: 

• Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task 
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour 
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
