Junior Estimator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase of various projects by assisting in the preparation of accurate cost estimates. Your responsibilities will include reviewing project plans and specifications, collaborating with senior estimators to gather necessary information, and performing quantity take-offs to ensure precise measurement of materials and labor requirements. You will also be responsible for researching and analyzing historical data to inform future bids, as well as supporting the development of bid proposals that meet client specifications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, with a basic understanding of construction processes and terminology. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel is essential, as you will utilize these tools to compile reports and present findings to project managers. Effective communication skills are necessary, as you will liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather price quotes and clarify project details. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory. We are looking for someone eager to learn and grow within the industry, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
