Stores Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stores Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient management of stock and inventory within our warehouse. Your primary duties will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products, ensuring that all items are accurately logged and tracked. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized storage area, following all health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will assist in conducting regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy, reporting any discrepancies to the management team promptly.

To be successful in this position, you should possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment is preferred, along with familiarity with inventory management systems. The ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely is essential, and relevant certifications will be considered an advantage. Excellent communication skills are also necessary, as you will collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
