School Caretaker

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive School Caretaker to join our team and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the school premises, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor areas. Duties include performing routine cleaning tasks, managing waste disposal, and ensuring that all facilities are in good repair. You will also be responsible for setting up and taking down furniture and equipment for school events, as well as conducting regular inspections of the property to identify any maintenance needs.

In addition to cleaning and maintenance, the School Caretaker will handle minor repairs and report major issues to the appropriate authorities. You will be expected to manage inventory and supplies for cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and readily available. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents are essential. A valid driver’s license and the capability to lift heavy objects may also be required.
