Position: Assistant Site Engineer

Role SummaryWe are seeking a proactive Assistant Site Engineer to join our team on civil infrastructure projects in Buckingham. Working alongside senior engineers, you will handle day-to-day setting out, quality assurance, technical documentation, and site supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Setting Out & Surveying: Execute precise setting out, levelling, and as-built surveys using Total Stations and GPS/GNSS equipment.
- Technical & Quality Control: Interpret CAD drawings, enforce Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), conduct pre-pour checks, and manage RFIs.
- Site Operations: Maintain accurate daily site logs (labor, plant, progress) and assist in supervising subcontractors.
- Health & Safety: Enforce compliance with RAMS, Permits to Work, and site safety standards.
- Qualification: HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Practical site experience setting out on civil infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Total Stations/GPS and AutoCAD.
- Certifications: Valid CSCS Card and Full UK Driving License.
