Core Responsibilities
Statutory Safeguarding: Managing a varied caseload of children and young people subject to Child Protection (CP) plans and Children in Need (CIN) frameworks.
Assessments & Court Work: Completing high-quality, analytical child and family assessments, preparing court reports, and managing care proceedings when required.
Relational Casework: Delivering purposeful, child-centred interventions to reduce risk, build family strengths, and improve outcomes.
Mandatory Candidate Criteria
Professional Registration: Active registration with Social Work England.
Frontline Competency: Substantive post-qualifying experience within a statutory frontline children's safeguarding team (Child Protection, CIN, or Duty & Assessment).
Driver: Full UK driving licence with access to a reliable vehicle for community-based visits.
