Location: Near Windsor, Berkshire

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Start Date: 3rd August

Contract: Temporary (Long-Term Sick Cover)

Pay Rate: TBC

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Site Assistant to join a friendly school team near Windsor starting on 3rd August. This is a full-time, temporary role covering long-term sickness, offering consistent Monday-Friday hours with no split shifts.

You will play a vital role in keeping the school campus safe, secure, and running smoothly day-to-day.

• Carrying out routine maintenance, basic DIY, and minor repairs across school buildings.

• Assisting with health & safety checks, fire alarms, and site security.

• Assisting with porterage (moving furniture, setting up halls for events/assemblies).

• Responding to day-to-day site issues and keeping grounds tidy.

• Background: Previous experience in caretaking, site maintenance, facilities, or building trades.

• Electrical Skills (Desirable): An electrical background or basic electrical testing/DIY experience is a strong bonus, but not essential.

• Vetting: Must hold an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or be willing to undergo one prior to starting.

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, proactive approach.
