Estates Surveyor (MRICS)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Estates Surveyor to join our professional property team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic management and optimisation of a significant and diverse property portfolio. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates excellence in property consultancy and is committed to delivering high-quality, commercial, and innovative asset management solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert property guidance, including acquisition, disposal, and professional asset management casework.
• Conduct Asset Valuations for financial reporting and support informed decision-making processes.
• Implement the Corporate Landlord model to ensure alignment with organisational asset management plans.
• Proactively manage the investment portfolio to maximise rental income and identify regeneration opportunities.
• Evaluate project plans, manage corporate risks, and develop innovative disposal and acquisition strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports and briefings for key stakeholders, maintaining a high standard of professional communication.

Qualifications:

• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or currently working towards APC completion.
• Evidence of compliance with RICS continuous professional development requirements.
• Detailed knowledge of asset management planning and experience in managing consultants or contractors.
• Proven ability to manage negotiations with senior stakeholders and the public.
• Strong formal report writing skills and a systematic, deadline-driven approach to work.
• Reticent, resilient, and assertive approach to resolving complex property challenges.

Employment Details:

• Location: Carlisle
• Salary: £350 - £400 per day
• Contract Type: Temporary - 6 months
• Working Hours: 37 Hours
