Primary School Teacher (QTS) - Supply & Long-Term Roles

Location: Okehampton & Surrounding Areas (Hatherleigh, Chagford, Tavistock & West Devon)

Position: Primary Teacher / Supply Teacher / ECT

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: £130 - £160 per day (Day-to-Day) | Paid to Scale (Long-Term / Full PPA)

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Cover: Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons, maintain high classroom standards, and foster a welcoming learning environment.

• Long-Term Placements: Take full ownership of class teaching, including planning, assessment, and pupil progress tracking in line with the National Curriculum.

• Support pupils' emotional, social, and academic development across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (ECTs welcomed).

• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.

• Excellent classroom management and adaptability.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one).

• Right to work in the UK.
