Support Worker Opportunities - Kinross

Positions Available: 2 x 30-Hour Contracts

Service Type: Supported Living (24-Hour Service)

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Kinross. You will be supporting four adults (two men and two women) in a vibrant supported living setting, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.

Due to the specific personal care needs and preferences of the women we support, these vacancies require support from female staff.

• Delivering high-quality, dignified support with all aspects of personal care.

• Safe administration of medication.

• Assisting with meal times and feeding requirements.

• Promoting independence, choice, and active community involvement.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in moving and handling individuals safely.

• Knowledge or experience in medication administration.

• An awareness of Dysphagia, dietary textures, and choking risk management (highly desirable).

• A patient, empathetic, and reliable approach to care.

• Hours: 30 hours per week (2 positions available).

• Shifts: Operating within a 24-hour service structure.

• Sleepovers: Shift patterns include overnight sleepovers (the service maintains two sleepovers every night to facilitate 2:1 personal care support for specific individuals).
