An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Family Court Adviser to join a dedicated team in Coventry. This role is ideal for an analytical practitioner who excels at evaluating complex family dynamics, representing the child's voice in legal proceedings, and delivering high-calibre court reports.

• Competitive Pay: Earn £34.00 per hour on a full-time interim basis.

• Specialist Judicial Focus: Concentrate purely on statutory assessments, Section 7 reporting, and court advice, free from long-term local authority case-holding.

• Comprehensive Court Reporting: Conduct thorough assessments and draft clear, evidence-based reports for both Public and Private Law care proceedings.

• Championing the Voice of the Child: Engage directly with children using age-appropriate tools to ensure their authentic views, wishes, and feelings inform judicial decisions.

• Courtroom Representation: Attend family court hearings to present recommendations clearly and provide expert advice to magistrates and judges.

• Risk Assessment: Identify potential safeguarding concerns, evaluate parenting capacity, and advise on safe, long-term outcomes for vulnerable children.

• Professional Body: Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England registration.

• Background Experience: Substantive post-qualifying experience in statutory Children's Social Care (e.g., Child Protection, Court, Looked After Children, or CAFCASS).

• Legal Proficiency: Proven track record in authoring statutory court reports and navigating family law frameworks.
