Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team and help maintain a safe shopping environment for our customers and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and any other suspicious activities. Your primary duties will include conducting regular inspections of the store, ensuring all areas are secure, and maintaining a visible presence to provide reassurance to customers and employees alike. You will also respond promptly to incidents, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate closely with local law enforcement when necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and the ability to assess situations quickly and effectively. Prior experience in security, loss prevention, or a related field is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with both customers and staff regularly. A valid security guard license and CPR certification are also desirable.
