Youth Development Lead - Development Awards (Leeds)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Development Lead for our Development Awards program in Leeds. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing initiatives that empower young people to reach their full potential. You will work closely with local schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to promote and facilitate access to Development Awards, ensuring that young people have the resources and support needed to achieve their goals. Your ability to inspire and engage youth will be crucial in fostering a positive environment that encourages personal growth and development.

Key responsibilities include developing and delivering workshops and training sessions tailored to the needs of young participants, monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness, and collaborating with team members to create innovative projects. You will also be responsible for maintaining partnerships with external organizations, securing funding opportunities, and representing the Development Awards program at community events. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as you will be liaising with a diverse group of stakeholders and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
