Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Electrical Engineer Bias

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Shift Engineer with an Electrical Engineer bias to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment within our facility. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving electrical faults, as well as performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other engineers and technicians to minimize downtime and optimize production processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, complemented by experience in mechanical systems. Key responsibilities include conducting planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities. You will also be tasked with assisting in the implementation of improvement projects, providing technical support to production staff, and participating in root cause analysis of equipment failures to prevent recurrence.

To be successful in this role, you should hold a relevant electrical engineering qualification and possess a solid understanding of electrical systems, controls, and PLCs. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is essential, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, is required.
