Climbing Arborist

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Climbing Arborist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care, maintenance, and removal of trees in various locations, ensuring their health and safety while enhancing the beauty of our environment. You will climb and work at heights, utilizing your expertise in tree biology and safety practices to assess tree health, diagnose issues, and implement appropriate treatment plans. Your duties will include pruning, trimming, and removing trees, as well as applying fertilizers and pest control treatments as necessary. You will also be expected to operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in arboriculture, including a certified arborist designation or equivalent experience. You should possess excellent climbing skills and a thorough understanding of tree anatomy and physiology. Physical stamina and strength are essential, as the job requires lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions. Strong communication and teamwork abilities will help you collaborate effectively with your colleagues and educate clients about tree care practices. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required, as travel to job sites is part of the role.
