Manchester, UK SF Partners Senior Software Engineer Senior Software Engineer with proven product engineering skills in full stack JavaScript, AI tooling and AWS in production is sought by a market-leading PaaS organisation based in central Manchester. With recent investment, this Senior Software Engineer will play a crucial lead role in new product development and AI innovation, working closely with the CTO to 5x engineering efficiency using AI tooling. As a primary contributor, you will help move the dial on engineering output. This role would suit a Staff or Senior Engineer with at least eight years' experience who is looking for the autonomy to set the technical direction of this high-growth, PE-backed company, while benefiting financially from the company's growth journey over the coming years. This Senior Software Engineer should have most of the following: - Full stack TypeScript and JavaScript experience (ideally Next.js, React and Node.js) - Hands-on product engineering experience, ideally operating at Staff or Lead Engineer level within a product-focused environment - Strong AWS production experience - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation or similar - Cloud-native architecture and design skills - Strong AI tooling experience - A genuine delivery mindset - able to ship software as well as design solutions - Experience working within a Product or PaaS environment This Senior Software Engineer position offers: - £90,000 - £95,000 starting salary (depending on experience) - Bonus scheme - Short working week with flexible working hours - Hybrid working (three days per week in the office) - Excellent progression opportunities - 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays - Private healthcare - Regular salary reviews - Well-structured training programme with external certifications If you are a Senior Software Engineer looking to play a leading role in shaping the technical direction of a successful, scaling organisation, please apply now to be considered or contact us for further information.
