  • About The Role -

    We are currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join our successful and motivated Team that helps support thedeliver the best housing services within Tower Hamlets. 

    To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills and experiences in

    • Managing a Neighbourhood patch, that provides tenancy neutral Housing and Estate management services.
    • Managing different patches depending on service requirements
    • Managing a Neighbourhood patch of approx. 1000 properties.
    • Pro-actively managing all potential hazards and Fire Risk Assessments.
    •  Support and sustain tenancies to prevent homelessness through the provision of general tenancy support to residents.
    • To take action concerning breach of tenancy, removal of squatters, unauthorised occupants, authorising successions, assignments including attending Court to give evidence.
    • Be sympathetic in managing stressful circumstances with clients via various communication platforms, including home visit and when representing the Council in court.
    • Managing a portfolio of tenancy sustainment cases e.g. Safeguarding, Domestic Abuse and Hoarding.
