A Star Recruitment is seeking an ambitious Junior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer looking to develop their skills through a combination of office-based and site-based work. You will work directly alongside an experienced senior engineer, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of electrical engineering projects with a clear pathway for long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with small electrical design projects
Producing CAD drawings, as-fitted drawings and project manuals
Reviewing and verifying test documentation
Assisting with estimating and project costing
Preparing Method Statements and Risk Assessments
Supporting engineers on-site to gain practical project experience
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience using CAD software
Good IT and document management skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Full UK driving licence preferred
Previous site experience would be advantageous but is not essential
