Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and well-maintained. Your primary duties will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees, and maintaining flower beds. You will also operate various landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring their proper usage and maintenance. A keen eye for detail will be essential as you work to uphold the aesthetic standards of our properties, while also adhering to health and safety regulations.

In addition to hands-on gardening and landscaping tasks, you will be responsible for inspecting grounds for any potential hazards, reporting issues as needed, and collaborating with team members to complete larger projects. Strong communication skills are a must, as you will liaise with management and possibly interact with clients to discuss their landscaping needs. A valid driver’s license is preferred, as you may need to transport equipment and supplies to various locations.
