About the Role

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Consumer Experience (CX) Business Analytics & Data Automation Specialist to support data-driven decision making across a large, international consumer-focused organisation.

This role will lead data automation and reporting initiatives across the Consumer Experience function, combining business analysis, stakeholder engagement and project delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate commercial requirements into scalable reporting solutions, helping drive efficiency, improve data quality and enable informed business decisions.

You will play a key role in defining KPIs, shaping reporting requirements, supporting the development of automated Power BI dashboards, validating data accuracy, and identifying opportunities to optimise processes across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document and translate business requirements into data automation and reporting initiatives across multiple data sources.
  • Define KPIs, reporting logic, data requirements, automation schedules and dashboard specifications to support reporting development.
  • Collaborate with Consumer Experience, Brand, Commercial, Finance, Procurement and Shared Services teams to deliver scalable reporting and automation solutions.
  • Support the development and enhancement of automated Power BI dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Validate datasets and reporting outputs to ensure data accuracy, consistency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate manual tasks and increase operational efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on business data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders while ensuring project milestones and timelines are achieved.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing reporting capabilities and data governance.
  • Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Degree qualified in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Experience delivering data, reporting, analytics or automation projects, ideally within FMCG, retail, consumer goods or similar commercial environments.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and translate business requirements into actionable reporting solutions.
  • Understanding of commercial performance metrics and KPIs, with the ability to connect reporting outputs to business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of projects and drive initiatives through to completion.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across multiple business functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to data validation and quality assurance.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering projects within agreed timelines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualisation tools would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to reporting automation, dashboard development and process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Coding or software development experience is not required.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a commercially minded professional who enjoys solving business challenges through data, automation and process improvement. They will be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex requirements into practical solutions, and driving meaningful change through improved reporting and analytics capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a tangible impact within a fast-paced, collaborative and data-driven environment.
