Site Agent

Join a key player in Defence & Security, as a Site Agent. This contract role is based at a live MOD facility in Devonport and involves a range of responsibilities from programming works to overseeing financial performance and resource utilisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming works, commercial performance, and the effective utilisation of resources to meet those programmes.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Take full ownership and accountability for the project's profit and loss, ensuring robust control of target costs and actual costs, including financial forecasts, forecast reviews, and final cost & value reviews with the commercial team.
• Ensure all labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with specifications.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree).
• SSSTS/SMSTS certification.
• May be working towards Chartership/Incorporation with IStructE, ICE, or another appropriate professional body.
• Prior experience working with reinforced concrete, groundworks, and civils.
• Familiarity with Leica Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Optical & digital levels) for Setting Out & Survey.
• Ability to lead client interfaces and manage project delivery on both technical and business aspects, including project management, leading technical teams, and communication.
• Experience in a similar role and awareness of commercial processes.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and experience in writing RAMS.
• Proven people and project management skills and strong organisational abilities.
