School Caretaker

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join our team and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks, ensuring that our school facilities are in excellent condition. Key duties include cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas; conducting routine inspections of the school premises to identify potential maintenance issues; and promptly addressing any repairs or improvements needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and taking down furniture for school events, ensuring that all areas are prepared for various activities.

The successful applicant will have strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Experience in building maintenance or custodial work is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. You must be physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and the ability to work in various weather conditions. A valid driver’s license is also required.
