Job Title: Fire & Security Service Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £30,000 – £55,000
Are you a Fire & Security Service Engineer based in Manchester looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of fire alarm and security systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems to manufacturer and industry standards.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on a range of fire and security systems in a timely and professional manner.
* Complete accurate service records and engineer reports following each site visit.
* Liaise with clients on-site to communicate findings, recommend remedial works, and maintain strong working relationships.
* Respond to reactive callouts and emergency breakdowns as required.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant British Standards and health and safety regulations.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm and security systems.
* Proven knowledge of fire alarm panels from leading manufacturers such as Advanced, Hochiki, Gent, or Honeywell.
* Experience with intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA Fire Detection and Alarm Systems qualification (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
