The Successful Senior Account Manager – Package * £45,000 to £50,000 per annum * Permanent position * Days role * Company pension * Free on-site parking * Long-term career progression * Stable and growing engineering business * Modern manufacturing environment The Successful Senior Account Manager – Role * Manage a portfolio of key strategic customer accounts * Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers at all levels * Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts * Lead regular customer review meetings covering quality, delivery and future opportunities * Liaise closely with engineering, production, planning and quality teams * Monitor customer orders and production programmes to ensure delivery commitments are achieved * Manage customer communications relating to order status and production schedules * Support contract reviews and ensure customer requirements are communicated internally * Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts * Produce account performance reports, forecasts and commercial updates * Support customer visits, audits and business reviews * Drive continuous improvement in customer service and account management processes The Successful Senior Account Manager – Requirements * Previous experience as an Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, Customer Account Manager or Key Account Manager * Proven experience managing strategic customer accounts within a manufacturing environment * Experience working closely with engineering, production and quality teams * Good understanding of quotations, order progression, contract reviews and delivery coordination * Strong commercial awareness and customer relationship management skills * Experience using ERP, CRM and Microsoft Excel * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Ability to build long-term customer relationships and identify business growth opportunities * Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills If you're an experienced Senior Account Manager looking to join a successful precision engineering business where you can make a genuine impact with key customers, we'd love to hear from you
