ServiceNow & Jira SpecialistLocation: Remote (Occasional travel to their London office) Contract: Inside IR35 Day rate: Up to £600 per day Duration: 6 months Start date: ASAP Key words: ServiceNow, Jira Specialist, workflows, remediation tracking, evidence links and audit traceabilityOur Client require a ServiceNow & Jira Specialist to align workflow tooling, change records, traceability and evidence links for a security remediation programme. The successful contractor will configure, improve and document the flow of work across ServiceNow, Jira and evidence repositories so that remediation actions, change approvals, implementation evidence and control closure can be traced end to end. This role is critical to making remediation auditable. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, process-aware and able to make Jira and ServiceNow work for both delivery teams and control owners. Assignment Objectives - Align Jira and ServiceNow workflows to support remediation delivery, change management and evidence traceability. - Improve the quality and consistency of remediation tickets, change records and evidence links. - Support account request, change management, CMDB and vulnerability ticketing processes where they intersect with remediation controls. - Provide tooling support to the Security Remediation Lead and Delivery Lead for reporting, dashboards and control closure tracking. - Ensure workflow changes support NIST-style controls, SOC 2, ISO 27001 and enterprise GRC evidence expectations. - Create sustainable operating guidance for BAU teams after the remediation programme.What Youll Do - Review current Jira and ServiceNow workflows used for remediation tracking, account requests, change records, vulnerability tickets and evidence links. - Design workflow improvements that support control traceability, status reporting, approvals and closure evidence. - Configure or support configuration of Jira projects, issue types, fields, statuses, dashboards, filters and reporting views. - Configure or support configuration of ServiceNow forms, change templates, queues, CMDB-related records and evidence link fields where required. - Create linkage between control findings, Jira tickets, ServiceNow change records, pull requests, test evidence and sign-off artefacts. - Support workflow alignment for application and non-application changes. - Support vulnerability ticketing and CMDB process improvements where required by the remediation plan. - Work with the Delivery Lead to produce reliable delivery reporting and closure dashboards. - Work with the Security Remediation Lead to ensure workflow states reflect control evidence and sign-off status accurately. - Document workflow usage, data quality expectations and BAU operating instructions. - Support users with adoption, troubleshooting and process adherence.
