Full-Time / Permanent
An established specialist construction and engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Project Planner to join its team on a major infrastructure project in London.
Working across tender, pre-construction and live project phases, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining project programmes, supporting project teams with planning expertise and helping ensure successful project delivery.
YOUR NEW ROLE
- Develop and maintain baseline and live project schedules.
- Produce programme updates, look-ahead schedules and progress reports.
- Analyse critical path, float, delays and programme risks.
- Support project teams with schedule planning and programme analysis.
- Assist with change control, baselining and extension of time (EOT) documentation.
- Provide planning support during tender and pre-construction activities.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and reporting.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in construction planning or project controls.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain project programmes.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, ASTA Powerproject, MS Project or similar planning software.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing, methodology and project delivery.
- Experience producing programme reports and identifying schedule risks.
- Degree, HNC or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls or a related discipline.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of NEC and/or FIDIC contracts.
- Planning or project controls qualifications.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
