PK Education are working with an 11-16 secondary school in Doncaster who are looking to appoint a Business Studies Teacher from September 2026. The timetable will consist of teaching Business Studies across KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons that help students understand entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and the world of work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for a role with long-term security, with the school keen to appoint on a temporary basis initially before offering a permanent contract to the right candidate.

Business is a popular subject within the school, with strong uptake at GCSE and a department that prides itself on making the subject relevant, practical, and engaging. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive team with shared resources and an established curriculum already in place.

The Role

• Teaching Business Studies across KS3 and KS4

• Planning and delivering engaging and relevant lessons

• Monitoring and assessing student progress

• Preparing students for GCSE examinations

• Contributing positively to the wider department and school community

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience

• Experience teaching Business Studies within a secondary setting

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to bring real-world examples into the classroom

• Someone looking to establish themselves within a school long-term
