About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within the quality team, working across goods-in, in-process, and final inspection of electrical and electronic assemblies.
The PCB Inspector role is paying £13.50 – £14.50 per hour (DOE) and working hours are Mon–Thurs 7:30–16:30 | Fri 7:30–12:30
What the PCB Inspector role will include:
- Inspect electrical & electronic assemblies and PCBs to drawings and standards
- Carry out goods-in, stage, and final inspections
- Manage calibrated tools – issuing and control
- Support First Article Inspection (FAIR) processes
- Assist in resolving quality-related issues and root cause investigations
- Work closely with the Quality Controller to improve and maintain standards
- Provide ongoing QA support across the business
- Proactively flag any risks to quality or delivery
- Previous experience in electronics / PCB inspection (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- IPC knowledge/training (advantageous, not essential)
- A structured, methodical approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Good organisational and time management skills
