Electrical Wireman

The successful Electrical Wireman will work within a modern manufacturing environment, collaborating with Mechanical Assembly, Test and Quality teams to deliver right-first-time builds of bespoke machinery.

Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Wireman, you will:

• Assemble and wire electrical systems from detailed electrical drawings and circuit diagrams.
• Install and integrate electrical control panels into bespoke machinery.
• Carry out electrical testing, inspections and safety checks while maintaining accurate build and test records.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with production teams to achieve high-quality, right-first-time builds.

What We’re Looking For

• Time-served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience.
• Two or more years’ hands-on experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or electro-mechanical build.
• Confident interpreting electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and wiring drawings.
• Experience of electrical testing, fault finding and diagnostics.
• IPC certification would be advantageous.
