BBC Blackburn is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. Your primary duties will include monitoring and patrolling the facility, conducting regular security checks, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies. You will also be tasked with maintaining accurate records of all security activities and incidents, ensuring compliance with established safety protocols, and assisting with the implementation of security policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills and a keen attention to detail. You should have a strong understanding of security practices and the ability to react calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with a valid SIA license. Additionally, effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders and providing assistance as needed.
