Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our store, employees, and customers. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for monitoring the premises, preventing theft, and enforcing company policies. Your primary duties will include patrolling the store to deter and detect suspicious behavior, monitoring CCTV footage, and responding swiftly to any incidents or emergencies. You will also assist in conducting thorough investigations of theft or loss incidents, documenting findings, and collaborating with law enforcement as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and a keen attention to detail. You should have excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with staff and customers. Previous experience in a security role, particularly in a retail environment, is preferred. A valid security license and training in conflict resolution are advantageous. Additionally, you must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe shopping environment for all.
