FLT Reach Truck Driver (Warehouse Operative) – Wigan

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver (Warehouse Operative) to join our well-established client based in Wigan.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, excellent rates of pay and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

This role may be suitable for candidates with experience as a Reach Truck Driver, FLT Driver, Warehouse Operative or Forklift Truck Operator.

Shift Pattern:

• Afternoons: 13:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday
• Nights: 21:00 to 06:00, Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday

Pay Rate:

• Afternoons: £13.50 per hour
• Nights: £14.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

As a Reach FLT Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Operating Reach trucks to pick and replenish stock
• Supporting the packing team with preparing orders for dispatch
• Stacking and wrapping pallets
• General warehouse housekeeping duties
• Breaking down and disposing of cardboard and warehouse waste
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Carrying out general cleaning and tidying duties as required

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be successful as a Reach FLT Warehouse Operative are:

• Valid RTITB or ITSSAR Reach Truck Licence
• Hard-working, reliable and punctual approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to support warehouse operations

Desirable Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience operating Reach trucks within a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Experience working to productivity targets

Training:

• Full site training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
