Provide Education is working with a secondary school in Barnsley to recruit a passionate and committed English Teacher for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school environment and help students develop their literacy, communication and analytical skills.
The successful candidate will benefit from pay to scale from day one, with daily rates available of up to £240 per day, depending on experience.
About the RoleAs an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, encouraging students to develop a love of English Language and Literature while achieving strong academic outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
• Supporting students of varying abilities to reach their full potential
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Working collaboratively within the English department and wider school team

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting
• Excellent subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
• Strong classroom management skills
• A commitment to raising standards and student achievement
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
