An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Operations Manager to join a market leading principal MEP contractor company working on local projects.Responsibilities: - Oversee management and site operations across 5-6 projects simultaneously - Collaborating with electrical operations manager part to ensure smooth running of project delivery - Delivering MEP installation services to new build sites worth £1m - £20m - Work with wider commercial teams within the business to help with maximising profitability - Ensure contracts are completed within timescales and budget - Ensure works are carried out safely and that reasonable and practical measures are taken to maintain the safety of all involved - Financial management of contracts, variations etc. - Manage competence and individual performance within the team - Develop relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeated business - Maintain company standards in terms of quality and timeRequirements: - Minimum 10 years' experience in a contracting environment, 5 of which should be management level - Ability to prioritise workload to ensure the management process is optimised - Knowledge of HVAC systems in the high-rise sector - Strong communication skills both internal and external stakeholders - Experience of managing wider management teams - SMSTS and First Aid would be an advantageBenefits: - Salary £65,000 - £70,000 - Car Allowance - Incentivised bonus scheme - 36 days holiday - Enhanced pension contributions (up to 6% by company) - Private heath cover - Life cover insurance
