Location: Rotherham (S60)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time
Pay: £115 – £135 per day

We are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Rotherham (S60) from September.

This is a full-time role, ideal for an experienced HLTA or a confident Teaching Assistant who has experience leading lessons and covering classes.

The Role

• Deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absence and PPA time.
• Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
• Work with individual pupils, small groups and whole classes.
• Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider school team to support pupil progress.

What We’re Looking For

• HLTA qualification or relevant classroom experience.
• Recent experience working in a UK primary school.
• Confidence covering lessons across different year groups.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• A positive, flexible approach and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning.
