Year 1 Primary Teacher

Provide Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Scunthorpe (DN17) from September.
This is a full-time, permanent position, offering the opportunity to teach a Year 1 class in a supportive and well-organised school. The school is committed to helping every child achieve their potential and has a strong focus on high-quality teaching, inclusive learning and staff development.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, particularly Year 1
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A proactive and positive approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

The RoleAs the successful Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Support pupils in developing strong foundations in phonics, literacy and numeracy
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Work closely with teaching staff, the SENCO and the leadership team
