DT Teacher Jobs in Sheffield – Engineering Specialist Required
Provide Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield seeking an experienced Design & Technology Teacher with a specialism in Engineering.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced teacher to join the school as an Acting Head of Department, leading the DT department while delivering high-quality Engineering lessons up to Key Stage 4.
The role is initially for the first half term of the academic year, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.
The RoleAs the successful DT Teacher, you will:

• Teach Engineering and Design & Technology to students up to KS4.
• Lead the DT department as Acting Head of Department.
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that inspire students.
• Monitor student progress and support positive outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with school leaders and colleagues to maintain high standards across the department.

The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:

• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has recent experience teaching Engineering within a secondary school.
• Can confidently teach Engineering up to KS4.
• Has leadership experience or is ready to step into an Acting Head of Department role.
• Is passionate about delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
