Provide Education is working in partnership with a school in Nottingham to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Science SEND Teacher for a September start. This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established department and make a real impact on students’ learning and development.
The role is available on a full-time basis and offers a salary with a SEND payment on top. Part time applicants of 3 days per week will also be considered.
About the Role
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop scientific knowledge, practical skills and confidence within the subject.
Key duties include:

• Teaching Science to students across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering lessons that support progress and attainment
• Creating a stimulating and supportive classroom environment
• Monitoring student achievement and providing effective feedback
• Following school policies relating to safeguarding and behaviour
• Working closely with departmental colleagues to support curriculum delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities
• Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
