Teaching placements completed during your training will be accepted as relevant secondary school experience for ECT applicants.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
• Have experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school (ECT placements accepted).
• Be confident delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition.
• Have the ability to teach GCSE classes confidently, supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes.
• Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring a love of food, nutrition and practical learning.
• Be keen to contribute to the wider Design & Technology department, working collaboratively with colleagues to develop an engaging curriculum.
