We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join a welcoming Primary School in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous site or caretaking experience who enjoys working in a school environment and takes pride in maintaining safe, clean and well-presented premises.

This role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, giving you the opportunity to secure a long-term position within a supportive school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and securing the school site each day
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring the school is safe, clean and well-maintained
• Conducting routine health and safety checks
• Assisting with deliveries and setting up rooms for school events
• Liaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issues
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous caretaking, maintenance or site management experience
• Is reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Has a good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Can undertake basic maintenance and DIY tasks
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for one
