Class 2 Driver | Early Starts

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Driver. The candidate will be delivering to major supermarkets across the South West. Maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and a good understanding of the rules of the road. Good numeracy and literacy skills required to enable correct delivery of goods. Various shifts required Monday to Sunday - temp to perm for the right candidate. Immediate starts. 02:00 starts, enhanced pay rate of £17.75 (Mon-Fri) and £20.50 (Sat and Sun) from 02:00 to 06:00 then £16.00 per hour for remaining hours (Mon-Fri) and £17.75 (Sat and Sun) Own transport required due to location. Duties

• Safely operate a Class 2 Vehicle to deliver goods to various locations
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding schedules and any potential delays
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving

Requirements

• Valid driving Cat C licence (class 2) with a clean driving record
• CPC and Digi card
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines
