Field Sales Engineer

My client is a specialist manufacturer of components that are used within industries such as Defence, Communication and R&D. They are seeking a Field Sales Engineer to join their existing team. As a Field Sales Engineer, your role will focus on account management, understanding technical requirements, providing product knowledge and technical solutions to both new and existing clients.

Field Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

–          Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets

–          Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

–          Travel to customer sites and deliver technical presentations

–          Understand technical requirements and propose technical solutions

–          Support customers throughout the full product cycle from initial concept through to delivery

–          Provide technical support and product knowledge when required

–          Work to and deliver against sales KPIs

Field Sales Engineer Requirements:

–          Experienced in technical or engineering sales

–          Background or understanding of RF, microwave, electronics, or telecommunication technologies

–          Ability to understand technical customer requirements

–          Strong communication and presentation skills are a must

–          Full UK Driving Licence
