Site Agent

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Agent to join their Highways division on a contract basis. This role involves working on a variety of London local authority schemes, specifically focusing on structures such as bridges, tunnels, and basements. The successful candidate will be required to travel between projects, predominantly located in South London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing on-site operations for highway projects
• Ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
• Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project goals
• Monitoring construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Preparing and submitting daily and weekly reports on project progress
• Managing resources and materials to optimise project efficiency
• Conducting regular site inspections and audits
• Facilitating effective communication between team members and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Experience in highway construction and project management
• Strong understanding of structural elements related to bridges, tunnels, and basements
• Excellent leadership and team coordination skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
• Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to travel to various project locations across South London
• Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related field
