About the role
Woodcote Primary School is a fully inclusive mainstream school, and following the success of our two existing Enhanced Resource Bases (ERBs), we are excited to be opening a third provision. This expansion provides an opportunity for us to welcome additional talented and committed staff to our wonderful team.
We are looking for dedicated, compassionate individuals to support children within our Communication & Interaction (C&I) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) ERBs. Each provision has a maximum of 10 children and benefits from a high adult-to-child ratio, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
The successful candidates will work as part of a team of five and will ideally have experience supporting children within either mainstream or specialist settings. However, we believe that personal qualities, values and a genuine commitment to supporting children are just as important as previous experience. The successful applicants may be required to use Team Teach strategies when necessary, and full Level 2 training will be provided. You will work closely with class teachers and specialist staff to implement personalised support strategies, helping children access an adapted curriculum and achieve their full potential.
If you are considering joining us, it is our children who will make the decision easy. They are remarkable young people with huge personalities, infectious smiles and an abundance of love to give. While each child has their own individual needs, these are only one part of who they are. They are full of character, determination, humour and potential, bringing joy, energy and purpose to every day. Working alongside them is both a privilege and a reward, offering countless opportunities to celebrate achievements, build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference. We are looking for someone who will champion our children, believe in what they can achieve and become part of their journey as they continue to thrive, succeed and amaze us every day.
