People Operations Adviser

I am currently recruiting for People Operations Advisors to join my client on an initial 6-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for HR professionals with experience across both HR operations and recruitment who are looking for a varied, fast-paced role working for an educational institution.

The Role

As a People Operations Advisor, you'll act as the first point of contact for a designated faculty and directorate, providing a blend of HR operational support (50%) and recruitment administration and coordination (50%). You'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality people service while supporting managers and candidates throughout the employee lifecycle.

• Temporary People Operations Advisor vacancy

• 35-hour working week (1-hour lunch)
• Hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home, office is based in SE10
• Flexible start times between 8:00am and 10:00am
• Monthly team meeting held in the office on Tuesdays
• Hourly salary - £20.33 to £23.63 per hour

About You

We're looking for candidates who have:

• A background across both HR Operations and Recruitment
• The ability to hit the ground running in a busy HR environment
• Confidence working independently and managing a varied workload
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to use initiative and make informed decisions

A CIPD qualification is not essential; however, applicants must have a relevant practical HR and recruitment background.
