Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver (Royal Mail) – ELDC 
Location: ELDC – East London Distribution Centre, RM20 3ED  
Employer: Royal Mail, on behalf of Pertemps 
Working Hours & Days: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm 
Pay Rate: £15.95 per hour 
Assignment Type: Temporary Ongoing 
Forklift Driver – Join the Royal Mail Team 
Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers to work on behalf of Royal Mail at their ELDC site. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most trusted organisations, offering competitive rates of pay, ongoing work, and a supportive working environment. 
Key Responsibilities 

• Safely operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and move mail and parcels throughout the warehouse. 

• Ensure goods are handled efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy. 

• Support warehouse operations by moving stock to designated locations. 

• Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or defects. 

• Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations. 

• Assist with general warehouse duties when required. 

Requirements 

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance forklift licence 

• Previous experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse or distribution environment. 

• Strong awareness of health and safety practices. 

• Good communication and teamwork skills. 

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. 

• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime where required.
