They are looking for a Staff Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in building a modern cloud-based data ecosystem while helping shape the future of data engineering across the organisation. This role sits at the heart of a major data transformation, offering the opportunity to lead the development of scalable, production-grade data platforms that power business-critical decisions across the enterprise. The Opportunity As a Staff Data Engineer, you'll combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, designing and delivering robust, cloud-native data solutions that enable data at scale. Working within a high-performing engineering squad, you'll take ownership of complex technical challenges, influence engineering standards, and help drive best practices across the wider data community. You'll build scalable data pipelines and frameworks using Azure, Databricks and Pyspark, while mentoring other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance and pair programming. Working closely with Product and Delivery teams, you'll play a key role in shaping the evolution of a modern cloud data platform and delivering solutions that create real business value.
