Security Commissioning Engineer (Paxton & Intruder)
Location: Ipswich
Duration: 3 Weeks (with potential extension)
Rate: £350 per day + parking
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Security Commissioning Engineer to support a short-term project in Ipswich. The role will involve commissioning works across access control and intruder alarm systems, working as part of an established on-site team.
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning of Paxton access control systems
Commissioning and testing of Texecom intruder alarm systems
System configuration, testing, and fault finding
Ensuring systems are fully operational and meet project specifications
Working collaboratively with engineers and site teams to deliver on project timelines
Requirements:
Proven experience commissioning Paxton access control systems
Strong working knowledge of Texecom intruder systems
ECS card (essential)
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Additional Information:
Immediate start preferred
Opportunity for contract extension based on performance and project needs
