Project Manager

Our client, a prominent player in the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) sector, is currently seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee key projects within the substation and HV domains. This is a contract role based in our Stafford office for 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing projects within the substation and HV sectors, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
• Coordinating project teams and resources to meet project goals and objectives
• Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Ensuring compliance with national grid standards and best practices
• Leading project meetings and progress reviews
• Managing stakeholder communications and expectations
• Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues
• Reporting project status to senior management and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Experience in project management within the substation and HV industries
• Understanding of national grid standards and requirements
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in engineering or project management
