Vehicle Technician

We are working on behalf of a prestigious brand dealership in Maidstone, Kent, to recruit a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic. This is a permanent role offering excellent career development opportunities within a highly regarded automotive environment. The successful Vehicle Technician will be a motivated professional committed to delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and customer service. Benefits of a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic: • Competitive basic salary ranging from £34,000 to £37,000, depending on experience • OTE up to £43,000 with additional earnings through a £3,000 Productivity Bonus and Time Saved Bonus Scheme • Manufacturer accredited training, including Hybrid and Electric vehicle qualifications • Supportive team environment with ongoing management support • Clear career progression opportunities within a prestigious brand • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota (8:30am to 12:30pm) Duties: • Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology • Performing servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests • Conducting additional repairs with customer authorisation • Completing warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards • Road testing vehicles to ensure faults are rectified • Completing all relevant paperwork to high standards Requirements of a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic: • Full UK driving licence is essential • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is required • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, from dealer groups or independent garages, is preferred but not essential • Motivated, ambitious, and eager to expand skills • Ability to work to high standards and deliver excellent customer service • Previous experience with a reputable brand is advantageous but full training will be provided This Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role is ideal for a qualified professional seeking a role with robust development prospects within a respected dealership that values skill and dedication.
